1. Energy Saving & High Efficiency
The conveyor delivers workpiece speeds 2.5 times faster than the actual chain movement. As a result, motor speeds can be reduced by up to 60% while maintaining the same throughput. This leads to substantial energy savings, lower noise levels (up to 15dB reduction), and extended system service life—ideal for cost-conscious and eco-friendly production environments.
2. Accumulation & Flexible Control
The unique roller structure allows the chain to continue running while workpieces are stopped at designated stations using stoppers. This free-flow accumulation capability enables individual workpiece processing without interrupting the main line, greatly enhancing layout flexibility. Easy integration with sensors, lifters, and transfer units supports precise, automated assembly operations.
3. Modular & Durable Design
Constructed with extruded aluminum frames and high-strength chain materials (available in carbon steel, stainless steel, or engineered plastic), the system offers easy installation and maintenance. Compact lifters and transfers optimize space utilization. The modular design allows customizable length, width, and height to suit diverse production requirements.
Product Uses
1. 3C Electronics & Home Appliance Assembly
The conveyor is widely used in production lines for computer monitors, laptops, printers, air conditioners, televisions, and microwave ovens. Its smooth operation and low noise make it ideal for clean, high-precision environments. The 2.5X speed capability significantly shortens assembly cycle times and increases overall throughput.
2. Automotive Parts & Engine Assembly
In automotive manufacturing, the system efficiently transports heavy components such as engines, transmissions, and instrument panels. With high load capacity and stable speed control, it supports synchronised multi-station assembly. Stopper mechanisms enable precise positioning at each workstation, ensuring reliable quality control throughout the line.
3. General Manufacturing & Battery Production
The conveyor is also applied in lithium battery assembly lines, small appliance manufacturing, and general industrial processing. Its free-flow accumulation design and compatibility with lifters and transfer units enable seamless pallet circulation. The system supports cleanroom requirements and adapts well to both light-duty and medium-duty material handling tasks.

The 2.5x speed conveyor, also referred to as a double speed chain conveyor or free flow conveyor, operates on a differential roller principle. The chain assembly incorporates rollers of two different diameters: larger load-bearing rollers that support the pallet, and smaller drive rollers that engage with the guide rail. When the chain moves at base speed, the larger rollers rotate on their axes, causing the pallet on top to advance at 2.5 times the chain travel speed. This mechanical speed multiplication allows the drive motor to run at lower RPM while maintaining target throughput rates.
The conveyor frame uses extruded aluminum alloy profiles as guide rails, with precision-machined chain channels for consistent tracking. The drive head and driven tail units are housed in black powder-coated steel enclosures, with accessible inspection windows for routine maintenance. The system supports workpiece accumulation: when stoppers halt a pallet at a workstation, the chain continues running underneath without stopping the entire line. This free-flow characteristic enables independent station processing without line-wide interruption.

Length, width, and height dimensions are customizable to match existing production line layouts. Chain material options include carbon steel with zinc plating, stainless steel (SUS304), and engineered plastic rollers for low-noise environments.
Pallet width selection depends on workpiece dimensions plus required clearance on each side, typically 10 mm to 20 mm per side. Lengths are manufactured in 250 mm increments within the 750 mm to 15000 mm range. Direct drive configuration is standard for straight runs up to 10 meters; longer lines may require intermediate drive units. Motor power is sized according to total load and line speed, with typical ratings ranging from 0.37 kW to 1.5 kW.
Minimum pallet spacing depends on stopper installation pitch and pallet length. For standard 400 mm × 400 mm pallets, the recommended center-to-center distance is 500 mm to allow proper stopper actuation clearance.
Double speed chain conveyors are designed primarily for horizontal transport. For incline applications up to 5 degrees, additional anti-backup features and pallet locking mechanisms can be specified. Steeper angles require alternative conveyor types.
Under standard single-shift operation, chain lubrication and inspection are recommended every 500 running hours. Guide rail cleaning and roller wear checks should be performed every 1000 running hours. Complete chain replacement intervals vary by load and operating environment.
Stoppers, lifters, and transfer units are modular accessories selected per application requirements. They are not included in base conveyor pricing but are engineered to integrate directly with the standard aluminum profile frame.
